Dan Ohler, Phd. (Pretty Happy Dude):

relationship, communication, and happiness specialist

author, speaker, facilitator, comedy entertainer

Dan has a Degree Of Personal Experiences (D.O.P.E.).

He is a farmer at heart and he plants seeds of common-sense - practical tools and tips that challenge you to grow your business and personal relationships, face difficulties and change, and harvest happiness and success.

You will gain grass-roots techniques to think outside your barn and to make accountable choices. You create great value for yourself by learning to become more effective and successful - in your personal life, business, or community. These are timeless natural laws that most people learned when they were kids, but forget to apply at times.

Dan's humorous, high-energy, engaging style gets results! His stories have clear and profound life lessons for you. You experience the hurt and happiness, tears and triumph, 'sucky-ness' and success as he shares experiences that engage you and motivate you to look at your life in an outside the barn kind-of-way.

You will know that Dan has been there and done that as he shares valuable life lessons learned through his varied past and present experiences as a husband, father, farmer, agricultural lender, land consultant in the oil and gas industry, agri-tourism operator, and professional speaker.

Through linguistics and mind-programming, Dan helps you and your team to move beyond your self-imposed limitations and beliefs, and create the happiness and success you want and deserve.

Dan is a Licensed Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). In his coaching practice, he often uses NLP and hypnosis to help clients overcome phobias, undesireable behaviour, pain, enhance performance, and create greater results.

He is a professional member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers (CAPS) and the International Federation for Professional Speakers (IFPS).

The Team:

Dan & Carol
Dan and Carol believe in the power and potential of “Human Capital”. The key to unlocking this potential is through Personal Leadership, which includes communication skills, accountability, attitude, and conscious awareness of choice. It is the “intangible stuff” that makes happy, healthy, effective people at work and at play.

Dan and Carol co-facilitate communication training, and specialize in relationship coaching, relationship recharge get-aways, and romantic retreats for couples. They believe that healthy relationships with life-partners are foundational to successful families, communities, and society.

Dan and Carol model what they teach, and they believe that life is meant to be magnificent, exciting, and extremely satisfying. They are fun, playful, and full of down-to-earth wisdom. Their message is basic, timeless, and clear:

“Life is about people. Those who choose to build honest, trusting, loving relationships with themselves and others can be, do, or have anything they want in life.”

Carol co-owns and manages Ohlers’ Acres, a Positively Peaceful Place … just 1 hour west of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Ohlers’ Acres was established in 1996. It provides Country B&B and Personal Development Retreats. The Ohlers’ farm is located on 160 acres in the beautiful boreal forest. Learn more at: www.ohlersacres.com
